Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026 · By using this website you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptable use
You may browse the site, take the quiz on your own behalf, and contact us. You may not: attempt to disrupt, probe, or overload the site; scrape or bulk-download its content; misrepresent your identity; submit another person's data without their consent; or use the quiz to send spam or solicitations. We may block access from sources that violate these rules.
2. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, commissioned artwork, the Atelier mark and name, page design, and the quiz — is the property of The Atelier / Home Abroad or used under licence. You may quote brief excerpts with credit and a link. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from the site's content, artwork, or branding without written permission.
3. The quiz and "the read"
The quiz produces a short, personalised assessment based solely on what you tell us. It's a professional opinion offered in good faith to open a conversation — not advice you should rely on in isolation, and not a promise of subscribers, revenue, or outcomes. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you submit.
4. Services, payments, and refunds
Audits, Positioning Systems, and Growth Retainers are sold under separate written engagement agreements that govern scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, invoicing, cancellation, and any refunds. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance by itself. Published prices are founding rates under our public pricing ladder; they rise on the published schedule and are honoured as shown at the time you engage. No payments are collected through this website.
5. Liability
The site and its free materials are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on free materials, and our total liability in connection with the site is limited to £100 or its local equivalent. Liability for paid engagements is addressed in the relevant engagement agreement. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Termination
We may withdraw or restrict access to the site, the quiz, or ongoing correspondence where these terms are violated. You can end things too — ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy) and we will.
7. Governing law
These terms — and any dispute arising from use of this website — are governed by the laws of Canada, where the business is registered, and Canadian courts have exclusive jurisdiction. For paid engagements, the governing law named in your engagement agreement prevails.
